Export Champion of the Aegean Region

The Maxion İnci Wheel Group, a joint venture between İnci Holding and the world’s biggest wheel manufacturer Maxion Wheels, stamps its mark on the sector’s exports. In the first six months of 2018, nearly 75% of the Maxion İnci Wheel Group’s Manisa plants’ output was shipped to over 50 countries: close to 3.5 million wheels to a value of $155 million.

The Maxion İnci Wheel Group, which manufactures wheels in Manisa for global car brands, has stamped its mark on the sector’s exports. The group, a joint venture by İnci Holding and the world’s largest wheel manufacturer, Maxion Wheels of Brazil, has in the past six years invested $150 million and continues to do so. The Maxion İnci Wheel Group, whose exports approached $300 million in 2017, ships 75% of its products to more than 50 countries.

 

In his evaluation of first six months of 2018, Chairman of the Board of Maxion İnci and Maxion Jantaş Mustafa Zaim said, ‘As one of Europe’s largest wheel manufacturers with the widest range of products in a single location, our employment figures in our Manisa plants are constantly growing; last year, we produced over 10 million wheels with about 1,700 employees. Maxion Jantaş and Maxion İnci exports in 2017 totalled about $300 million dollars. We will continue to grow in 2018, as we continue to invest with confidence in our country and its people.’

 

Referring to the Maxion İnci Wheel Group as a rising star in the Aegean region that will continue to contribute significantly to the country’s economy, Zaim continued, ‘In the first six months of 2018 we exported approximately 3.5 million wheels, bringing in some $155 million. We continue to produce for our region and Turkey, cognisant of our duties as a pioneering exporter in our sector in the Aegean region. We will never compromise our disciplined and solution-oriented style of work so that we may maintain the high level of customer satisfaction due to our products sent to all four corners of the globe. We continue to invest with confidence in our country and people. We are confidently moving towards our goal of totalling $310 million in exports this year.’
